Have you ever wanted to experience the world of American Sign Language, the beauty of ASL literature, and the richness of Deaf culture—all in a peaceful setting surrounded by the shimmering waters and forest views of the Adirondack Mountains?
If your answer is yes, then the ASL and Deaf Culture Immersion Week is for you! This weeklong program offers an engaging and interactive experience filled with ASL-focused activities, a special theme for the week, and inspiring guest presenters from the Deaf community.
This program welcomes all adults aged 21 and up—including ASL students, interpreting students, certified interpreters, parents of Deaf children, and anyone wishing to strengthen their expressive and receptive ASL skills while gaining a deeper appreciation of Deaf culture and community.
Each day includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner, except on Arrival Day (Sunday), when dinner only will be served, and Departure Day (Saturday), when breakfast only is provided.
Accommodations feature dorm-style rooms with bunk beds (typically 4–5 people per room) and shared bathrooms. Please bring your own bed sheets (or sleeping bag), pillow, blankets, and towels (for both shower and waterfront use). Parking is available on site.
Join us for a week of language, learning, laughter, and cultural connection — an unforgettable experience that will enrich both your ASL journey and your heart.
